IUS Community Packages for Enterprise Linux 5
"The IUS Community Project is aimed at providing up to date and regularly maintained RPM packages for the latest upstream versions of PHP, Python, MySQL and other common software specifically for Redhat Enterprise Linux. IUS can be thought of as, “A better way to upgrade RHEL” when you really need to."
Install the release repository files:
# rpm -Uvh http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/5/x86_64/ius-release-1.0-6.ius.el5.noarch.rpm
Warning: The default repository installed by this package only includes the EL v5.0 packages. If packages for specific version greater than EL v5.0 (e.g. EL v5.5) are required, then the .repo file must be changed/duplicated. The mirror list script ('http://dmirr.iuscommunity.org/mirrorlist') doesn't appear to support the 'repo=ius-el5.5' parameter, just a'repo=ius-el5' parameter.
