CentOS v7.4 Xen PV guest fails to boot
This issue relates to a Kaiser changeset and the CentOS Plus kernel.
Fix/Workaround
Boot the VM using an older kernel (e.g. v3.10.0-693.2.2) and then install the patched v3.10.0.693.17.1 kernel:
# yum install https://people.centos.org/toracat/kernel/7/plus/bug14347/kernel-plus-3.10.0-693.17.1.el7.bug14347.centos.plus.x86_64.rpm
